VICTORIA silver shilling 1895 old, veiled or widow head type. this coin weight is 5.65g. and 925 fine silver SIR JOSEPH BOEHAM designed the jubilee head,which was engraved by LEONARD CHARLES WYON. MR WYON also engraved the reverse,but from is own design. in1889 the head was made slightly larger.The old head bust was by SIR THOMAS BROOK, the reverse of the old head shilling was by SIR EDWARD POYNTER.
